Be YOU...

One day, when all the employees got to work, they saw a note waiting for them on the door.

“Yesterday, the person who has been hindering your growth in this company, passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym.”

Head first, everyone was sad for the loss.

But after a while, they grew curious to know who the man who was hindering their growth.

At the funeral, the employees were excited to finally learn the man’s identity.

“Who is this guy who was hindering my progress?” one said.

“At least he is gone now.” Said another.

Each employee had a chance to visit the coffin. But each became speechless once they looked inside.

It was as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. Inside the coffin was only a mirror.

Everyone who look inside it could see themselves.

Next to mirror was a sign.

“There is only one person who is capable of setting limits to your growth, you.”

“You are the only person who can revolutionize your life.”

“You are the only person who can influence your happiness and success.”

“You are the only person who can help yourself.”

“Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friend changes, when your partner changes, when your company changes.”

“Your life changes when you change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs.”

When you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.

The most important relationships you have is the one you have with yourself.

Rise by lifting others...

An old man saw a scorpion drowning and decided to pull it from the water. He calmly extended his hand to reach the creature. When he did, the scorpion stung him. With the effect of pain, the old man let go of the creature, and it fell back into the water. The old man realizing that the scorpion was drowning again, he got back and tried to rescue it but then still it stung him. He let go of it again. A young boy standing by, approached the old man and asked, “Excuse me sir, you are going to hurt yourself trying to save the evil – vicious creature, why do you insist? Don’t you realize that each time you try to help the scorpion, it stings you?” The old man replied, “Look son! The nature of scorpion is to sting and mine is to help. My nature will not change in helping the scorpion.” So the old man thought for a while and used a leaf from a nearby tree and pulled the scorpion out from the water and saved its life. Do not change your nature. I...

Fly High...

A crow holding a piece of meat in his beak was flying in the sky looking for a place to seat and eat it. Suddenly he saw a flock of eagles chasing him. Anxious to save his life the crow started flying higher and higher. Yet the eagles wouldn’t let go and kept chasing him. Seeing the plight of the crow, a bird a wise old owl sitting on a tall tree asked him, “What’s wrong with you my friend? You look very disturbed and why are you flying in such a state of panic?” The crow replied, “Look at these eagles! They are after my life. They want to kill me.” The wise owl said, “They are not after to kill you dear. All they want the piece of meat you are holding in your beak. Just drop it and see a magic.” The crow followed the advice of the owl. All the eagles flew towards the falling piece of meat and the crow could now fly higher. Isn’t this is true in our life as well? We hold on to the piece of meat. That money which is not ours and are always at...

GOD has its own plan...

When Mr. Clark a Scottish farmer heard that the luxury cruise liner Titanic was to make its very first voyage. Its maiden voyage from the United Kingdom to United States of America. He had a dream to be on the ship with his wife and his five children’s. He practically spent most of his life’s savings to buy tickets for his entire family; non – refundable tickets guess what? Just a week before the Titanic made its way to America, one of Mr. Clark’s son was bitten by a dog. The doctor recommended that the boy be quarantined for his own safety and for the others around him. Mrs Clark suggested that he and the other children actually make their way on the trip. But Mr. Clark’s conscience didn’t allow him to leave his fife and his ill son behind. Wednesday 10 th April 1912, as the Titanic sailed forth from the Southampton port in Hampshire, England, Mr. Clark stood there crying tears of disappointment and frustration. All his money was gone and none of the...
