Rise by lifting others...

An old man saw a scorpion drowning and decided to pull it from the water.

He calmly extended his hand to reach the creature.

When he did, the scorpion stung him.

With the effect of pain, the old man let go of the creature, and it fell back into the water.

The old man realizing that the scorpion was drowning again, he got back and tried to rescue it but then still it stung him.

He let go of it again.

A young boy standing by, approached the old man and asked, “Excuse me sir, you are going to hurt yourself trying to save the evil – vicious creature, why do you insist? Don’t you realize that each time you try to help the scorpion, it stings you?”

The old man replied, “Look son! The nature of scorpion is to sting and mine is to help. My nature will not change in helping the scorpion.”

So the old man thought for a while and used a leaf from a nearby tree and pulled the scorpion out from the water and saved its life.

Do not change your nature.

If someone hurts you, just take precautions.

Some pursue happiness while others create it.

Let your conscience be your guide in whatever you do.

Start caring for the less fortunate even on the simplest of ways.

When life presents you with the hundred reasons to cry, show it that you have a thousand reasons or a more to smile.

More importantly, always try to be the reason for someone’s smile.

Once upon a time, there was a King who loved to hunt. One day whilst hunting, the king shot a wild leopard. The king ran towards it to see if it was dead or not, when suddenly the nearly dead leopard jumped up and attacked the king. The chief servant managed to kill the leopard but couldn’t prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious, the king said his servant, “If God was good, I would not have been attacked and I certainly wouldn’t have lost a finger!” The servant replied, “Despite all of these things, I can only tell you that God is great and everything happens is for good. Everything God does is perfect and He is never wrong.” Outraged by his response, the king asked the servant, “If I put you in prison, would you still think that is best for you?” The servant without fear, humbly replied, “Yes my Lord!
